Have you ever spent a day with nearly 400 Nurses & Midwives?
A room full of people who chose a life of service, just having a fun & educational time away from the hospital...
Well, it's quite an experience! My stereotypes confirmed - this group of cheerful and caring people made for a wonderful atmosphere for The Nursing and Midwifery Conference held by the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The amazing keynote speeches from Toni Schwarz, Professor Chris Morley, Prof Brian Dolan OBE, Oly Newton, Joanne Cooper, and Kristen Major filled the room with wisdom and laughter at OEC Sheffield.

Being the Keynote Artist at this great NHS Conference
As a Keynote Artist, I was asked to create a 'Visual Conference Summary', to illustrate the key themes across the day (as opposed to Graphic Recording where I capture the content session by session!
Being the Keynote Artist at this event was a unique and wholesome experience.
I'm so grateful to have been invited - and for how much the Live Illustration was appreciated by the attendees of this NHS Conference.
“Your presence and your artwork added a unique and inspiring dimension to the event, capturing the essence of the day in a truly remarkable way. The feedback we have received from conference attendees has been overwhelmingly positive.
Thank you for sharing your talents with us and for helping to make our conference a memorable and impactful event.”
Chris Morley, Chief Nurse at NHS

The Live Illustration was shared a few times along the day, as it evolved, and always received a round of applause. It was also shared during the closing remarks, projected as a background for the rest of the conference!
